Joevan Catron joins the Hawks

The Wollongong NRE Hawks right now have announced the signing of Oregon Ducks Senior Joevan Catron as their forward import for the 2011/12 iiNet NBL Championship period.

The addition of Joevan to the roster will see him compliment the Wollongong NRE Hawks latest rotation of bigs including Dave Gruber, Larry Davidson and previous year’s NBL Most Improved Player Oscar Forman.

“We’re fired up to be bringing Joevan about to the club. He’s straight out of university and we imagine this will be a very good first phase for him in his specialist occupation,” mentioned Wollongong NRE Hawks Head Coach Gordie McLeod.
